Ahhh….To be “Naturally” GREEN!
Michigan Pine Green that is!
I introduced you to this cabinet a couple weeks ago… remember… This is the one that I used 6 oz of paint mixed with 2 oz. water and it covered in 2 coats.
I finally finished it… Check it out from beginning to end. Then I have a couple questions for you all!

I Used Mississippi Mud on the inside!
And Here she is with 2 coats of Michigan Pine! Did you notice the inside…

I changed my mind and painted over the Mississippi Mud with Texas Prairie… Still not sure if I will change that… I am feeling like a little Mesa Sunset. These are before I waxed or did any distressing using the California Rub.

I worked at Northgate on Monday and had the opportunity to distress and apply CeCe Caldwell’s Clear Wax. You can see in the photo where the wax is still wet.
Then on Thursday, while working again this week, I buffed it out and cleaned up the glass. What do you think? I do love Michigan Pine and think this looks great!
I have to tell you all that… after waxing and when you start to buff out your painted piece… it is so exciting to see the character of the paint express itself! Every time is like the first time I used CeCe Caldwell’s Paint… I get so excited and am thrilled with what I accomplish! I never thought I could create something so beautiful! CeCe Caldewll’s really is “PAINT MADE EASY”

You can paint like this too, it is EASY! There are workshops all over the country where CeCe Retailers would love to share their technique with you! Go to CeCe Caldwell’s web page and find a retailer near you! Or you go check out Debi Beard’s You Tube channel, she has lots of videos on using CeCe’s paint. & of course, you can always contact me, I love to share and talk paint…. fair warning to ya…. I do love to talk, make sure you have an hour or so!
Do you remember earlier that
I was going to ask you a question?
1. Do you think I should paint the shelves the
same color as the inside and
2. Would you paint the inside Mesa Sunset?

OR Leave it Texas Prairie Green?

Would love to hear your feedback!

Great job Kathy! I would paint them the Mesa Sunset…I think it would bring out the detail of how you painted the cabinet.
Leave the prairie.
This is absolutely gorgeous!! I would leave it with the Texas Prairie … I think that the Mesa Sunset will take away from the green
Thank you Catherine, Donna and Jenni! I work next Thursday… if it is still there, I might paint the shelves… TP or MS yet to be decided… looks like TP is winning!
